This is a new interest, primarily as a way of collating and presenting my photos. I'm still firmly in the beginner catagory but here are a couple of my early attempts. If you want to have a go I can recommend: Making Books by the London Centre for Book Arts and the DAS Bookbinding Channel on Youtube
Impressions of Autumn: a concertina book containing ten 95mm square images from my local woodland all with ICM (intentional camera movement). The "concertina" is printed in 3 rows on an A3+ sheet of smooth cotton fine art paper and then stuck together into a long strip. The cover is a photograph printed onto an A4 sheet of photo canvas and then attached to 2mm board.
World Pinhole Day 2020-22: a hard backed Japanese stab bound book 145mm x 130mm containing 16 images captured on 120 Ilford film on World Pinhole Day in 2020, 2021 and 2022. The 2020 photos were captured near my home due to the Covid "lockdown", the 2021 photos at Shoreham on the Sussex coast and the 2022 photos from the Ebernoe Common nature reserve also in Sussex. The photos are inkjet printed on a matte paper, the title sheets are a textured watercolour paper and the hard covers grey bookcloth on 2mm board.
